Let's plan our trip...

This website you are now visiting is the result of a previous work done for more than two years. Everything started in 2007, after a Postgraduate course on “Teaching Content through a Foreign Language”. University of Nottingham (UK) .

Since then, I have been applying CLIL as a teacher in my classes and I have been experimenting with its possibilities in many fields.

Reasearch and innovation have been one of these fields that lead me to create http://blocs.xtec.cat/clilpractiques1/ in the summer of 2008, with the intention to share materials, links and activities with other teachers and students.

After this time presenting the blog here and there, here’s a bigger challange: a website about CLIL.

Welcome on this trip to CLIL!

Many European centers count on educational proposals rooted within this framework, at all educational levels (primary, secondary and tertiary), and this conference aims to underscore the development of CLIL into more and more ...

  • Effective INSET programmes for CLIL teachers in an EFL context CLIL is gradually attracting attention outside Europe and more CLIL classes are being provided to EFL students. However, there are a variety of CLIL approaches in different contexts, so teachers are faced with a fundamental question: what is CLIL? To answer this question, we are trying to develop effective INSET programmes for EFL teachers who seek for an innovative classroom.
